Ouachita Parish Public Library's Newsletter for December and January 2024

Every 2 months, NMY designs the newsletter for the Ouachita Parish Public Library. The first newsletter we created for them was published during the summer of 2020 and we've been doing it 4 times a year ever since! It has evolved over the years to accommodate the evolving content. Where there used to be a focus on articles, there is now a full list of events for adults, teens, and kids! Each issue also includes a section "From the Archives" where the librarians dive into a story that they've resurrected from the vast library archives. We have also adapted the newsletter to have more activities! Billie The Bookworm is hidden throughout the publication and readers are invited to find them all. On the back, where there used to just be a list of locations, we now include a fun word game that's accessible for children and fun for adults. We're proud of how far we've come with this project and look forward to many more issues in the future!
